Psychological Therapy in London

Harrison Psychology Group is a professional group of clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists and psychotherapists in London specialising in individual and relationship therapy with adults. Our trauma-informed approaches include, but are not limited to, flexible and person-centred acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Systemic and narrative approaches, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive analytic therapy (CAT), compassion focused therapy (CFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR). We offer our services online and in-person.

We centre compassion and trusting therapeutic relationships to support our clients to cope with life’s challenges, whilst holding expertise in working through specific difficulties such as symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties and sexual problems.

Our goal is to help you develop self-understanding and resilience through empowering you with coping skills and and focus on living a meaningful life.

Harrison Psychology Therapists

All Harrison Psychology therapists are trained to offer the latest treatments for a wide variety of psychological challenges. Good therapy, however, does not simply come from good training and years of experience alone. We believe it is equally important to bring ourselves as human beings into the therapy room. We take special care to balance a down-to-earth approach with evidence-based clinical practice.

Psychotherapy and Therapy in London

Our Approach to Therapy

We believe in an integrative approach to psychotherapy. While we are trained in many types of therapy, we do not believe that any single kind of therapy can solve all problems for everyone. We instead take into account people's experiences, preferences and needs, integrating therapy from different modalities to best fit your needs.

Diversity & Inclusion

Psychotherapy has historically failed to adequately address the psychological experiences of minoritised people. We account for the mental and embodied impact of discrimination in our clinical work and do not pathologise non-conformity. At Harrison Psychology Group, we believe that celebration of human diversity is crucial to building resilience and healing. We work affirmatively with people of all sexes, gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnicities, religions, races, and socioeconomic and relationship structures.

A sign of health is that we don’t become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it’s time to stop struggling and look directly at what’s threatening us.
